I love the look and feel and fit of this skirt, but I too was disappointed to see that the grommets are glued on (hence only 4 stars).
I just rec'd it today and I am going to wash it to see how they hold up, I usually wash all of my jeans before I wear them the first time anyway. If the grommets stay on I will keep it, if they fall off, back it goes. I don't see that this item would need to be laundered a lot but when needed it should withstand the necessary care. So while I do like the style and fit and softness of the fabric, I need to see how it will hold up to washing.
Also, Diane if you read these reviews, this would be a great skirt in white denim.

This skirt is cute, but much over priced. I will keep it because of the expense in sending it back, but I would not make this particular purchase again.

I absolutely LOVE this skirt. It fits beautifully and looks awesome! I wish Diane would do more skirts like this in different colors, like her jeans.

Indigo stretch denim.
Fixed flat waistband. Side zipper with hook-and-eye closure.
A-line gored skirt. Straight hem with multisized antiqued goldtone grommets.
Approx. 30-3/4"L.
98% cotton, 2% spandex. Hand wash, hang dry.
2-16; 16W-24W.
Semi-fitted: somewhat close to the body, but cut for ease of movement and fabric drape.
Imported.
