I might have kept this top as I liked the colors and the silk fabric. As others have said in their reviews the embellishments around the neck were a bit too heavy for this lightweight silk fabric and so I kept having to adjust the entire tunic to keep it in the right place on the body. I didn't like the combination of really long sleeves and the overlong tunic length. It was a bit like being swallowed in silk and the effect wasn't attractive. If the price point had been right, I would have kept it and cut it shorter in the sleeves and overall length, but even at the sale price it wasn't worth the effort to do this. I didn't understand why this featherweight top which weighed almost nothing had a $7 shipping and handling charge. That tipped the scales in favor of sending it back, and I did.

The silk is very nice, but the beadwork is sooo heavy that it pulls the neckline down. It would be so nice if DG would put the beads all around the collar..Then I believe it would stay in place. Beading is too heavy just in front.

I got the raspberry tunic. I love that it is not lined and the fabric is 100% silk. The fabric design is great, like a William Morris wallpaper design that uses brighter instead of muted colors. It is a tad tight in the chest area, but is very roomy in the waist and hips.

I really like this top and was going to order another one in yellow until I watched Dianne Gilman tonight. I paid $44.90 for my black top and am not going to pay more than $70 for it. It is a beautiful top but I can't pay such a high price for it. I only gave the top three stars for this reason.

I received the blue tunic and it is lovely. I think maybe I'm not giving it more stars because it is too long - I'm 5'4" and could wear it as a dress...and it makes me look wide. Oh well, I like it enought to keep it and I'm sure I can be creative enough to find a way to wear it so it works!
