This is an inset strip of fabric, it is not sewn on the outside of the leg like a true tuxedo stripe is sewn. I thought it made the look kind of cheap on the black legging, kind of like it didn't fit & you added a strip to make it larger. The leg was too long, therfor the proportion was wrong & the legging narrowed & widened at the wrong spots on my legs. I am 5'5", not petite, & the fit was wrong. Like the other reviewers state, I agree, there is not a lot of stretch in these but I don't know that I would go up a size. I don't think it is the size, I think it is the proportion & the cut.

These are very cute, stylish and warm. The only problem is that they are a little snug around the lower leg area, without much stretch. So if you are going to purchase, go up a size

I returned these the day after I recieved them. I'm 5 '6, size 8 and the small was a low rise and a bit tight. The medium would've been a little better but these don't feel like leggings - and the rise would still be low. I'm looking for comfort and style in leggings. These need alot more stretch. Love the stripe but had to send back.

I think the Tuxedo legging is really a great look however there is absolutly no stretch and the ankle is so tight that I was afraid I was going to rip the pant while pulling them up!
I want to keep them but I can't, too tight of fiber.

I'm a size 4 and I ordered a XS. I intentionally size down thinking the material would be stretchy. Well, they did fit and they looked good on. But I'm so afraid to sit or bend because they are not as stretchy as I expected. I decided to return them, unfortunately.
