Love the deep, dark purple, more of an eggplant color than purple, a "little NOT-black dress." I''m 5''4" and it falls below my knee. Seeing the model wear it above the knee, I think that length will be best for me too. I''m size 14/16, usually a size L, and the size L fits in this dress. It is a bit low-cut, so I may put a large floral fabric pin or a large beaded pin where the plunge is. You still need a bodysmoother on with this if you carry some weight in midriff as it is form-fitting.

Like other reviewers I was concerned about the fit of this dress, but wanted something for an upcoming cruise - this is it! I am a 36DD and weight about 170. I ordered the purple in lg and it fits great. I was concerned about the top fitting a larger chest, but no problem - in fact, I may have it taken up a bit at the shoulder and have the cross section secured down a bit more to prevent any gapping. Can''t wait for my hubby to see me in this dress!

I brought the Dress in black. i was kind of scared about the fit. but when I got it and tried it on. i was so impressed how how it hugged my curves.so all you full figured females, this is the way go. my waist is 45" and i got a 1X perfect fit. everyone love the look and the feel of the dress.Donna Ricco is my first choice. I have another one that i brought in the store.the fabric are different,the one I brought in the store, the fabric was great, rich .. but I''m not complaining. both was great.

I ordered this dress to wear to a wedding reception. I was tired of finding the same black dress in all the department stores. The dark purple is flattering and the fit is terrific. The v-neck style is slimming and the lingerie straps were a great extra. I loved it and will look for more Donna Ricco styles

I love Donna''s dresses, especiall the spandex satin ones but this one didnt fit me right. In order to fit in the hips, it was way too tight in the bust area .. that was a med . A large was way too large all over ... also seems to show too much cleveage for me.
