I have this jacket in almost every color size XL. It is generously sized because it does have a boxy style so it's especially great for anyone carrying weight around the middle. I wear this jacket over a Slinky shell or a blouse. Since it doesn't have shoulder pads (I wish it did), I use my own when wearing the jacket by itself. This jacket has become a workhorse in my wardrobe. I do love the long sleeves and am soooooooooooooo tired of those 3/4 lengh sleeves and think that they are not very attractive on an older person.

I ordered the 1x. I'm 5'5" and the shoulders are 1" too wide and the sleeves go down to my knuckles. The good thing about making 3/4 sleeve jackets is that they are never too long. If they would move the shoulders over, that would take care of part of the sleeve length but they'd still be too long. If they are going to design for someone 5'10" (the one who liked the sleeve length) then they need to make petites for the rest of us!

received this and low and behold the sleeves are 5 inches past my fingertips.

whatever happened to slinky and quality control?

no wonder this was placed on sale.

can't hem slinky material so had to send it back. bummer!
