It's not true to size. I love the high waist, but it is too tight. I had the jacket to go with it and the outfit is really SHARP when I tried it on. I struggled with returning this outfit to get the next size up in the skirt, but decided not to. I am contemplating reordering, because I really love the outfit. 4 stars because the skirt is not true to size, but everything else - colors available, quality, & design are excellent.

What a disappointment. Sizing is terribly off. I should have cancelled when I read he warning about TL sizing change. I always wore a medium and could depend on an excellent fit. I ordered a large after I read the reviews but my skirt was not anywhere close to fitting.I am probably going to stop ordering until I can figure out what is going on.

I love TL design and I try to buy as many as I can because most of TL design is a bit hot for Southern California - I love winter clothes that's all I wore when I lived in Scandinvia. Winter clothes are timeless and elegant and I hope TL will make more for those of us who live in warmer climate. I will wear the whole outfit next Sunday and I will write how people reacted to the whole ensamble when I review the jacket. But for now, I am pleased with my skirt and I hope you are happy as well, Miss Terry, "someone likes your Persian suiting skirt"

I just received my skirt yesterday and had the same experience as the other ladies. I have always worn a size 6 in Terry's skirts and pants. I needed about three more inches of material to even hope of getting the waist zipped. The skirt was also very long/high waisted but I would have lived with that by wearing the jacket over it- not an option since I couldn't zip the skirt. It was so small that I don't think it would help to order the next larger size. This skirt was designed for someone tall, ultra slim, and long waisted. The material is so luxurious and rich- I was very disappointed to have to return it.

I have never disliked any TL item I have ever recd.Ordered this and matching jacket in 2 colors. Fur is nice but what is up with your fit on this skirt? I must REALLY be out of shape. Hips on size 4 fit great but I could not begin to close the waist. Every other skirt since the sizing change at HSN in 4 has worked for me so what is up with this one? Anyone interested in this skirt, there is NO give in the waist at all so look at the sizing chart not by your normal TL sizing. 2 size 4 skirts on way back and 2 jackets for anyone waiting.
