The Adirondacks have
their lakeside birchbarked camps, the Russian forests their brightly painted
dachas. On New Zealand's North Island, the getaway place is called a bach (for
bachelor) and on the South Island, a crib. Whether it's alongside a lake or
sitting on the beach, the crib often has an overturned canoe outside, nicely
worn furniture within, and a good supply of well-thumbed books. It feels more
like home than home. An afternoon lazing on the porch inspired this easy-wearing
leather jacket, of medium weight, in an exceptionally supple, richly textured
lambskin. It has a feminine fit, with a pleasing shoulder yoke, a shaped waist,
and a hemline that falls high on the hip. The detailing is appropriately
unfussy, with a topstitched convertible collar, on-seam welted pockets,
antiqued-brass zipper, and satin acetate lining. Professional leather clean.

Wonderful Jacket / Penny, CT3/5/2008 This is a very well made and attractive jacket. Great little weekender with style !! The jacket looks comfortably worn - not new and shiny. The fit is just wonderful - I did size up one size because of another review which I appreciate. This jacket is a keeper and probably will last forever. It is highly recommended.
