I own several pairs of ponte knit pants from other labels, and these are very thin in comparison. The just don't look like they should cost as much as they do. They have a discount department store feel and look to them. The fit is good, but they are very long and would have to be altered driving the price up even further. If I'm going to spend $50+ for a pair of knit pants, they'd have to be better quality than these. Maybe M Wynne or Gabriella Rossi will do a ponte knit pant. That would be wonderful.

These pants are wonderful. They are really soft and they don't bind at all. I ordered true to size based on the size chart, a 6 (I am a 27 inch waist and a 37 inch hip). The rise is a little higher than I would like, maybe an inch below the navel, but it is not too high. I got both colors. Not much to say about black, but the brown is a rich color. Even though I ordered these to be very casual, I believe that with the right top and accessories, these pants could go almost anywhere.
