Like the previous poster, I was surprised to see this was an a-line - and an ankle length one at that. And when I tried it on, I was even more surprised at the fit. The tummy trimmer panel in the front was nice, but as a consequence of the tummy pulling in, the back of the skirt pulled tight over every every panty line and curve of my behind. Very disappointed in this skirt for the price.

It does appear to be well-made, as all Travelsmith clothes are, it just was not at all what I expected.

I took delivery on this skirt yesterday, and, unfortunately, was very disappointed in the style. From the photo in the TravelSmith catalog, this skirt appeared fitted/lean through the hip area after which I thought it flared out like other 6-8 gored skirts I own. What arrived was a gored skirt--but very much a full A-line. Very unattractive for most women in my estimation--and certainly for a woman of petite stature.

Rated 3 only because the skirt appeared to be a quality-made garment.
